In 1970, “I Want You Back,” “ABC,” “The Love You Save” and “I’ll Be There” all were #1 best sellers. The following year with Jacksonmania sweeping the nation three more gold records by the group were added with “Mama’s Pearl,” “Never Can Say Goodbye” and “Sugar Daddy.” “Dancing Machine,” “Enjoy Yourself” and “Shake Your Body” continued the hit streak for the Jackson’s while young Michael was well on his way to stardom as a solo performer starting with “Got To Be There” in 1971 and the following year with “Rockin’ Robin” and “Ben.”

Among Michael’s other #1 hits were “Don’t Stop Til You Get Enough, ” “Rock With You,” “Off The Wall,” “She’s Out Of My Life,” “Billie Jean,” ”Beat It,” “Thriller” and joined by Paul McCartney, “The Girl Is Mine” and “Say, Say, Say.”

On July 25, 2009, Michael Jackson died of cardiac arrest at his home in Holmby Hills, California. He was only 50 years of age.

With numerous Grammy awards, Michael Jackson is credited with having sold more than 750 million records world wide. Michael has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson have both been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 and 2001. They also were inducted into the Hit Parade Hall of Fame in 2009.
